JW Anderson, who just took home the coveted Emerging Talent award at the British Fashion Awards, will be sharing his talented young design perspective with Italian industry icon, Donatella Versace herself.

When news broke that Christopher Kane was leaving his post at Versus after three years at the brand, Women's Wear Daily reported that production of seasonal collections at Versace's sister line would end.

The brand, which will be moving forward with capsule range collaborations designed by Donatella and emerging new designers, smartly appointed the official Emerging Talent winner to head up their first highly-anticipated collab.

Jonathan Anderson, known by the fashion world as JW Anderson, will work with Donatella towards repositioning the sister brand of the storied Italian fashion house.

"I saw his first men's collection in 2008 and right away I was impressed," Donatella Versace told Vogue U.K. "I felt the same way about his women's collection. I saw something different in what he was doing, a real desire to push forward. I think Jonathan is a perfect fit for this inaugural capsule collection. In addition to being a talented designer, he's well versed with the new digital world and is, therefore, an ideal partner for our new direction."

Anderson's Versus range, which will include men's and women's ready-to-wear, as well as accessories, will be unveiled at a New York presentation in March or April next year, after which, it will be sold online and at leading international department stores.
