Meryl Streep's Daughter Gets Denied to Alexander Wang
When you're Meryl Streep's daughter in the acting world, not a single red rope stands in your way. Such is not the case in the fashion world (though we'd beg to differ), or at least in the eyes of Alexander Wang.
According to The New York Times, Streep's daughter, Mamie Gummer, was denied a seat at Alexander Wang's Spring 2013 show this past September.

While Gummer sat front row at A-lister shows including Altuzarra this past season, and calls edgy brands such as Acne, Opening Ceremony, and even Alexander Wang as some of her favorite labels, the up and coming actress, who has a show premiering on the CW next week, was not given a seat to Wang's show.
"We don't feel like there's enough of an already established relationship between her and the brand," Wang's publicist said. Which The New York Times translates to: "she projects the wrong image."
Would this ever happen in the world of Hollywood? Hard to imagine.
