Swarovski Collective Names Spring 2013 Designers
Bling it on, fashion folk!
We can expect plenty of sparkle this Fashion Week, as the Swarovski Collective has announced that it will be collaborating with 11 labels this season, Women's Wear Daily reports.
The shows in New York, London, and Paris will see past participants Rodarte, Altuzarra, Giles, Creatures of the Wind, Marios Schwab, Mary Katrantzou, and Juan Carlos Obando using Swarovski Elements in their Spring 2013 collections.
Meanwhile, Wes Gordon, Huishan Zhang, Maarten van der Horst, and Anthony Vaccarello will mark their first season partnering with the brand and its luxurious crystals.
“It provides me with great support and ... [enables me] to enhance my collection with crystal," Vaccarello tells WWD. "I want to use crystal as a fabric and not as embroideries in order to have fluidity and create unique feminine and graphic looks."
