Cyndi Lauper to Play Betsey Johnson's Fashion Week Presentation

She's so unusual!
That may be Cyndi Lauper's tagline, but the same could be said for cartwheeling designer Betsey Johnson, who has tapped the '80s diva to perform at her New York Fashion Week presentation on September 11, Page Six has revealed.
Needless to say, this won't be any ordinary show. As we previously reported, this season's presentation will feature a retrospective of Johnson's 40-year career, as well as a celebration of her recent 70th birthday (yes, we can hardly believe it either).
Throw in a few tunes like "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "She Bop" and it sounds like ol' Betsey has figured out the perfect way to shake off the past year's Chapter 11 crisis.
Ain't nobody keeping this girl down!
