Alexa Chung Designing Her Own Fashion Line
It's on with Alexa Chung!
Having collaborated with the likes of Madewell (not to mention inspiring her own Mulberry handbag), the British style icon is ready to take the plunge with her own fashion line, she confirms to Numéro Tokyo in the magazine's October issue.
"Yes, I’m definitely going to do that," Chung says. "I’m looking into it right now. I've got nothing to lose, it's a bit of fun. In this current era of celebrity no one believes you actually design the stuff anyway, even though I sketch everything myself. So if it sucks I can say I had nothing to do with it, and if it's really good I can say 'Here are the drawings, it's all my own work!'"
Smart girl. But knowing this style star, she's got nothing to worry about. Bring on the vintage-style dresses, Peter Pan collars, and schoolgirl skirts!
