Nina Ricci's Fall 2012 Ad Campaign
Another day, another gorgeous fashion campaign to gush over.
This time it's Nina Ricci's Fall 2012 images that are suppling our daily dose of eye candy thanks to their visionary mix of black and white photography courtesy of Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin with vibrant bursts of watercolor flowers from illustrator Jo Ratcliffe.
The label's La Rue tote, modeled after a medicine bag, takes center stage in the ads, with model Kati Nescher clutching an alligator-skin version in one shot.
"I like that Nescher looks more like a woman than a girl," creative director Peter Copping tells Women's Wear Daily of the campaign, citing the model's "underlying strength."

Copping also recruited Ratcliffe to create artistic works inspired by the campaign, which she will display at Nina Ricci boutiques in Paris and Dubai come October.
"It definitely takes the publicity into another dimension," explains Copping, who plans to open a new retail concept at London's Harrods in November as well as more freestanding stores in the near future.
In other words, you'll have plenty of opportunities to make that lovely La Rue your own. Hop to it!
