Flower child: Florence Welch wows in Valentino's Spring 2012 Couture.

Is it just us, or does it feel like Florence Welch's stunning cover shoot for the July issue of Harper's Bazaar U.K. should be hanging in the Pre-Raphaelite section of an art museum?

The Florence and the Machine songstress is at her ethereal best in the Camilla Akrans-lensed fashion spread, wearing a crown of flowers and exposing her bare back in a sheer floral-print dress from Valentino's Haute Couture Spring 2012 collection.

The first issue under new editor Jenny Dickinson also sees the flame-haired fashion icon sporting dewy skin and a series of romantic get-ups—think wispy gowns and her signature capes accessorized by floral headpieces, stacks of rings, and the occasional horse.

Posing for Camilla Akrans, the singer speaks out on her designer pals and style inspirations.

Of her own style, the British singer says she's drawn to Florence Nightingale, warrior princesses, and the "tragic heroine" Ophelia, though she's also partial to the old lady-chic favored by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Can't say the girl isn't versatile!
