Hedi Slimane’s YSL Collections Won’t Be Shown to Press
Has Hedi Slimane been taking lessons from Tom Ford's cloak-and-dagger playbook?
Though the fashion world is chomping at the bit to get a glimpse at Slimane's first collections as Yves Saint Laurent's new creative director, Women's Wear Daily is reporting that the presentations will be open to buyers only.
And while even Ford invites editors to his notoriously top-secret presentations (providing they sign non-disclosure agreements, of course), members of the fashion press will have to wait several months to see Slimane's women's Cruise and Spring 2013 menswear collections, which have been described as "transitional."

No doubt it will be worth the wait...though that won't stop us from trying to score a job as a fashion buyer in the meantime.
