They’ve got Opening Ceremony stores in New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo (plus a pop-up shop coming to London!), and they’re the creative directors of French fashion house Kenzo, but wonder designers/retailers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have yet another project up their chic sleeves.

The duo will launch OC Annual, a new magazine, Women’s Wear Daily reports. The glossy, described as a collectible fashion and culture magazine, will debut this August in a print run of 30,000.

“As magazine fanatics, O.C. founder Humberto Leon and myself are aiming to create a collectible publication for a new generation, something beautiful and special in the vein of Benetton’s ‘Colors,’ Comme des Garçons’ ‘Six’ and Joe McKenna’s ‘Joe,’” Lim wrote in a memo. “We want to make a magazine that will appeal to kids in Nebraska as much as industry people.”

The duo has tapped the likes of photographers Bruce Weber, Walter Pfeiffer, Todd Cole and more to contribute to the first issue, which will be sports-themed in honor of the summer Olympics in London.
