Nicole Richie Accused of Stealing Dress Design

Her Fashion Star co-star Jessica Simpson was recently under fire for taking just a little too much inspiration from Christian Louboutin for her own shoe line, and now, Nicole Richie’s being accused of being a fashion copycat as well.
Radar Online points out that the Jazbaa Dress from Richie’s Winter Kate line is suspiciously similar to the Mini Barbet Dress by L.A.-based clothing line Odylyne. While the Odylyne dress is shorter, they both share an asymmetrical ruffled hem, a tie at the neck, a braided belt, and peasant sleeves.

It will be hard for Richie to claim ignorance in this case: Radar has a picture of the reality star-tuned-designer wearing the Odylyne dress back in 2011. Whoops.
