CFDA and British Fashion Council Announce 2012 – 2014 Fashion Week Dates
Get out the date books! After months of negotiating among the four fashion capital, the Council of Fashion Designers of America and the British Fashion Council have confirmed the dates of New York and London Fashion Weeks between now and September 2014.

New York Fashion Week: September 6 – 13, 2012
London Fashion Week: September 14 – 18, 2012
New York Fashion Week: February 7 – 14, 2013
London Fashion Week: February 15 – 19, 2013
New York Fashion Week: September 5 – 12, 2013
London Fashion Week: September 13 – 17, 2013
New York Fashion Week: February 6 – 13, 2014
London Fashion Week: February 14 – 18, 2014
New York Fashion Week: September 4 – 11, 2014
London Fashion Week: September 12 – 16, 2014
“Both the BFC and CFDA are confident that this confirmation will ensure the smooth running of both fashion weeks and allow for designer brands and businesses in all four fashion capitals (New York, London, Milan and Paris) to successfully plan for the long term,” said the two organizations in a release today.

It remains to be seen whether or not Milan’s Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana will cooperate with the dates, which made waves when it announced last fall that it would start Milan Fashion Week early, conflicting with both New York and London. But it doesn’t sound like New York or London are budging on their settled dates. See you at Fashion Week!
