Karl Lagerfeld is set to design a hotel.
He’s put his Kaiser spin on Diet Coke bottles, ice cream commercials, makeup, wine, and—oh yeah—clothes, but Karl Lagerfeld’s never-ending CV is about to get a whole new bullet point.
The Chanel designer has been tapped to redesign the outside premises of the Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo, Women’s Wear Daily reports. The five-star Monaco hotel was originally built in 1886, and though it was refurbished in 2004, has retained its stunning Belle Epoque style—something Lagerfeld will no doubt keep in mind when tackling his latest project.
He’ll reportedly put his magic touch on the pool area, terrace, gardens, and restaurant, and has designed a fresco-style installation showing Ulysses’ journey.
Vacation, anyone?
