And if you don't think that green can be glam, allow a few starlets to prove you wrong. In October Amanda Seyfried hit the London premiere of In Time in the collection's shimmery blue shorts suit, while Michelle Williams turned heads at the February 12 BAFTAs in a stunning gown boasting a gold-draped organic cotton bodice.
A top and skirt version of Williams' gown will be on offer when the collection launches on April 12, as will an organic cotton pleated mini dress, a lemon yellow beaded maxi, and a digital print jacket in a recycled polyester blend.
Last but not least, planet-friendly prom queens should take note of the show-stopping "Ultimate Red Carpet" number, of which only 1,000 copies will be sold. With its white organic cotton and silk bouclé top and dramatic organza plissé meringue skirt, this is the sartorial equivalent of asking Al Gore to be your prom date.
But, you know, a million times more fun.
