After casting Reese Witherspoon in its Fall 2011 ad campaign, Swedish retailer Lindex has found itself a new A-list blonde for Spring 2012.

Gwyneth Paltrow is the face of the brand's just-released "Modern Preppy" ads, which see the GOOP guru swapping her snow-white Tom Ford Oscar dress for sporty stripes, splashes of sequins, and bold orange and green separates.

Available March 21, the new range gives preppy East Coast staples like club blazers, chinos, and cable-knit sweaters a "certain Scandinavian touch," which is what initially drew Paltrow to the label.

"I think modern preppy is the way I'm inspired to dress because I grew up wearing a uniform and blazers and that kind of thing, but I always had a twist to it, like Doc Martens boots ... or lots of bracelets," she says in a behind-the-scenes video. "So I think I grew up always starting from a preppy kind of aesthetic and then making my own twist on it."

The actress also singles out the striped blazer and tube skirt (which she calls "a great throwback to the '80s") as her favorite pieces—though we might opt out of pairing them with Docs. Forgive us, Gwynnie!
