Daphne Guinness in The Legend of Lady White Snake Video: Sneak Peek
We never can tell what to expect from the inimitable Daphne Guinness. One day it’s a MAC makeup collection inspired by pigeon’s blood, and the next? Well, you’ll have to see this one to believe it.
Guinness has starred in a short film titled The Legend of Lady White Snake, a video tribute to Alexander McQueen. Directed by Indrani, the film will debut Sunday, February 12 at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York—but a one-minute teaser for the film has been revealed today.
Guinness wears the new Genghis Khan collection by designer GK Reid in the film, as well as pieces by Gareth Pugh, Philip Treacy, Bess, and, naturally, Alexander McQueen. And though she’s got no human co-stars in the film, she does get awfully close on-screen with a 20-foot-long albino python.
