With Doo.Ri’s collection for Macy’s Impulse nearly out of the pipeline (it hits stores February 15!), the department store has its next high-fashion collaboration all lined up: Alberta Ferretti.

Alberta Ferretti for Macy’s Impulse, a 30-piece collection inspired by the Amalfi Coast of Italy, will hit stores April 17.

“Alberta Ferretti’s thriving business, international appeal and modern aesthetic enticed us to collaborate with her,” Macy’s chief merchandising offier Jeff Gennette told Women’s Wear Daily.

“She just had two very successful shows,” added Martine Reardon, the company’s executive vice president of marketing. “She appeals to an international consumer as well as an American consumer, and her fabrications are very soft, very feminine, chiffonlike, drapy, comfortable and really pretty, yet they look very elegant.”

The collection, which follows Kinder Aggugini, Matthew Williamson, Giambattista Valli, Karl Lagerfeld, and Doo.Ri, will be priced from $49 to $119 and will include evening-worthy dresses, blouses, prints, and knits.
