Pedro Almodóvar’s Missoni Spring 2012 Campaign Video
Fashion designers and editors have long been drawn to the work of Pedro Almodóvar. Now, it looks like the legendary director is returning the favor.
Almodóvar collaborated with Missoni for the Italian brand’s Spring 2012 campaign video, titled Todo Sobre Missoni—a play on Todo Sobre Mi Madre, or All About My Mother, Almodóvar’s 1999 film.
The video (which accompanies Missoni’s Juergen Teller-shot print ad campaign) stars creative director Angela Missoni, her daughters Margherita and Teresa Missoni, model Mariacarla Boscono, and Spanish actresses Blanca Suarez and Rossy de Palma in an eye-popping, multi-dimensional tour through the brand’s Spring collection.
