Like a kid in a candy store: Young Versace on Milan's Via Borgospeso
Oh, children ... Donatella has a treat for you!
The designer is following up her successful H&M collaboration with a new retail venture aimed at an audience that's considerably younger and less prone to wearing corsets.
Geared toward boys and girls from 0 to 12 years old, Young Versace has opened its first store, on Milan's Via Borgospeso.
The boutique will stock the line's inaugural Spring 2012 collection, which features studded hoodies, zipper-detailed tops, and skirts with the label's key motif.
"I am thrilled to be able to present the Young Versace collection in its own unique retail environment," Donatella Versace says in a press statement.
"The collection is perfect for kids that like to stand out from the crowd."
The boutique is just the latest luxury fashion coup for the budding fashionista.
Lanvin, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Roger Vivier have started catering to children as well, while Gucci recently opened its first kids' boutique.
Have fun, kiddos. Just don't forget who pays the credit card bills ...
