Dior’s L.A.dy Dior Film - A Los Angeles Spoof
Dior, the quintessentially French fashion house, has traded the City of Light for the City of Angels in its latest film, L.A.dy Dior.
Of course, Paris-born actress Marion Cotillard is still the label’s flawless face. But for Dior’s new (comedic!) short, directed by John Cameron Mitchell (of Hedwig and the Angry Inch fame), Cotillard is all Hollywood.
The Oscar-winning star plays uninspired actress Margaux on the set of a photo shoot to promote her fictitious film, Tongue in Chic.
Surrounded by a hilarious coterie of over-the-top stylists (pushing “cruelty-free” hats made from fallen palm fronds), high-strung agents, and dramatic photographers, she eventually loses her cool and decides instead that the only thing she’ll pose with is—naturally—her Lady Dior bag.

In related news, Dior is said to be close to naming Raf Simons as the brand's new designer.
