A vintage Diamond Birkin has fetched $203,150 at a Texas auction on December 6, setting a world record for the highest price paid for a handbag at an auction, the Houston Chronicle reports.
A spokesman for Dallas' Heritage Auctions confirmed that an anonymous collector made the winning bid for the luxury bag, which features red crocodile skin, 18-karat white gold, and diamond-encrusted hardware.
