First look: A sketch of Betsey Johnson’s Eloise tree, set to jazz up the Plaza.
Would you expect anything less than a pink Christmas tree from Betsey Johnson?
The quirky fashion designer has teamed with The Plaza Hotel to create its inaugural Eloise Christmas tree.
Adorned with pink tinsel, maribou garlands and, of course, Eloise, the tree will make its début on November 28, at the first of many holiday teas.
In addition, Johnson opened her first pop-up shop at the famed hotel on November 14.
Through January 9, the shop, on the hotel’s concourse level, will offer a specially curated collection of gifts including perfume sets, legwear, jewelry, watches, sweaters and outerwear.
“I absolutely loooove The Plaza, along with Eloise of course!” Johnson said in a release. “I'll be poppin' in to light the Eloise tree and kick off my Betsey holiday pop-up shop, filled with my favorite stocking stuffers and more.”
Johnson’s partnership with the Plaza is her second—she designed the Eloise Suite in 2010.
