About face: Betsey Johnson's yet-to-be released watches.
It's Betsey time.
Bubbly designer Betsey Johnson is designing a line of watches along with licensee partner Haskell Jewels, LLC.
Set to hit department stores in July, the collection will feature 120 styles true to Johnson's playful style, including sequins, leopard, hearts, skulls, and floral prints.
“Strategically, the time is right to launch Betsey Johnson Watches,” says Gabrielle Fialkoff, COO of Haskell, in a press release.
“We have the right mix of fresh design, quality product, strong retail partners and an authentic brand position.
“We have been licensed business partners with Betsey Johnson, with great success since 2006 with our jewelry collection, and to now be able to add the watches to our portfolio of brands was just a natural extension for us.”
Priced between $75 and $400, the timepieces will appeal to a range of budgets.
