Roland Mouret Launching Bridal, Cocktail, and Shoe Lines
Looks like we ladies have won the battle of the sexes ... at least when it comes to gaining Roland Mouret's attention.
The designer, whose artfully draped dresses are beloved by Miranda Kerr and the Duchess of Cambridge, has announced plans to hold off on his MR menswear line so he can focus on expanding to cocktail and wedding dresses as well as his first footwear collection, Women's Wear Daily reports.
“The company has made a decision to realign its focus on continuing the growth of its successful womenswear business, and, as a result, the MR menswear line has been put on hold, effective immediately,” a company spokesman tells WWD.
You have our condolences, boys. Still, that won't stop us from daydreaming about Galaxy-style bridal gowns and LBDs and skyscraper heels worthy of Mouret bestie Victoria Beckham. This is gonna be good.
