Meow! Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises
Anne Hathaway has swapped her Dolce & Gabbana for something a little more sultry.
The first image of the actress in costume for her role as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises has just been released, and she looks seriously sexy in—what else?—a black leather catsuit.
Fans of the ultra-feline looks of previous Catwomen may be dismayed by the lack of cat ears in Hathaway’s ensemble; instead, she wears goggles that are reportedly more similar to the original comic book character’s look.
“Anne’s outfit is more tactical, like the comic book, than the previous Batman movies,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She will definitely be wearing the goggles and it’s going to be less sexy than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman costumes. She’s going to look more like a robber.”
This robber's anything but incognito, though. Dialing up the glam factor significantly? Flowing hair and bright red lips.
The Dark Knight Rises, starring Christian Bale as Batman, hits theaters next summer.
