Kate Spade Designs Bikes for Shutters Hotel

Nice ride! Kate Spade and Shutters hotel in Santa Monica are offering one very chic mode of transport.
Nothing says summer like riding along the beach on two wheels—and Kate Spade has teamed up with chic Santa Monica hotel Shutters on the Beach to make sure patrons can do just that.
Kate Spade provided a flock of cheery green bikes to the hotel, created in partnership with the adorable New York-based bike shop Adeline Adeline.
Hotel patrons can take the cruisers out by the hour ($10 per hour) or by the day ($25), guided by a Kate Spade map that highlights local attractions like the Dance Doctor dance studio or A+R for design treasures.
This is Kate Spade’s second L.A.-centric collaboration this week—on July 11, the brand announced its handbag line with stylists Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, a collection based on the duo’s West Coast roots.
