Aldo and Preen Collaborating on Shoes
Because everyone loves a shoe bargain—especially when it comes from the ridiculously cool design duo behind London-based brand Preen.
Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi have partnered with high street shoe brand Aldo for a collection of footwear set to bow at Preen’s Spring 2012 runway show in New York.
"It's still in development, but the initial designs are looking very modern and sexy,” Thornton told Vogue U.K. “Aldo really wants this range to be a fantastic high quality, directional product, so they will appeal to the Preen customer."
This isn’t the first time Aldo has collaborated on footwear. Julian Louie created a line for the retailer earlier this year and the company also partnered with Rad Hourani in the past.
On the lower-priced end of the fashion spectrum, Aldo recently announced that it would sell its Call It Spring line of shoes at JCPenney.
