Talk about a grand entrance: The Lobby of the Hotel Missoni in Kuwait
If you’ve ever had the urge to eat, sleep, and otherwise live fashion, it might seem a bit constraining that your passion is limited to your closet. No longer: Missoni’s brand-new hotel in Kuwait City is a veritable dream world for the style savvy.
The Hotel Missoni, part of the Rezidor Hotel Group, first opened its doors in March, but the grand opening event will take place on May 25. Designed by Rosita Missoni, one of the founders of the famed Italian fashion house, designed the interiors of the 18-story space, which comes complete with zigzag prints, mosaic touches, and plenty of colorful accents.

There's no need to leave your suite with a bathroom like this. Well, maybe to eat off the Missoni Home tablewear.
The 169 guest rooms and suites each come with Missoni bathrobes and slippers and custom Missoni-scented toiletries, while the Cucina Missoni, the hotel’s restaurant, will serve Italian-inspired dishes on (what else?) Missoni Home tableware and glassware. One extra-haute touch? The in-room “magic mirrors” will enable guests to convert their bathroom mirrors to Bang & Olfusen televisions. (Wonder if they'll offer Missoni for Bugaboo strollers for tot-toting guests?)
If guests are still craving more luxury, the hotel’s Six Senses Spa will open later in the summer, offering saunas, steam rooms, hammams, yoga studios, and massages and treatments.
It doesn’t come cheap (rates start at 280 Euro per night, or about $399 at current exchange rates, and includes breakfast, limousine airport transfers, mini-bar, laundry and WiFi)—but it’s a small price to pay to live and breathe fashion, no?
