Renée Zellweger in Tommy Hilfiger Breast Health International Ad Campaign
Tommy Hilfiger has recruited an A-list talent for his latest handbag.
The all-American brand collaborated with Renée Zellweger on a new limited-edition slouchy hobo to support a cause near and dear to the designer's heart: the Breast Health International charity for breast cancer research.
Looking luminous in a white cable-knit cardigan, the actress stars in the Alexi Lubomirski–shot campaign for the roomy suede bag, which boasts herringbone lining, gold trim, and natural, vegetable-tanned leather. For every $298 bag sold, $100 will be donated to the BHI's Fund for Living initiative, which offers support to those diagnosed with breast cancer.
“Because of the experiences of close friends and family members who have had to endure and battle the challenges of breast cancer, I am a passionate supporter of breast health education and charitable causes,” the Oscar-winning actress said in a press release. “I am honored and grateful to be partnering with Tommy Hilfiger to raise awareness and funds to support the invaluable work of Breast Health International.”
“I am very proud to be supporting Breast Health International for the fifth year running,” added Hilfiger, who has previously teamed up with celebrity ambassadors Milla Jovovich, Helena Christensen, Carla Bruni, and Claudia Schiffer. “With the limited-edition bag series, we’ve been able to contribute to building breast cancer awareness, raise funds for the organization, and offer our consumers an opportunity to contribute in their own way. I am very pleased to work with Renée Zellweger, whom I consider to be a great talent, for this year’s edition.”
The limited-edition bag will be sold in Tommy Hilfiger flagship stores, on tommy.com, and through select department and specialty stores May 1.
