Fancy footwork: The Emma and Lotte from Paige Denim's shoe collaboration with Terry de Havilland

When it comes to denim, the sky's the limit.

Just ask Paige Denim, which is breaking new ground with a capsule collection of footwear designed in partnership with shoe guru Terry de Havilland.

Launching exclusively at DonnaIda.com, the four-style collection—priced at 350 pounds, or $563, a pair—for Spring/Summer 2011 features washes inspired by Paige's celebrity-approved jeans as well as non-denim fabrics. Standouts include the Emma peep-toe, lace-up bootie in Crete Olive or Masai Grey, and the pinup-worthy Lotte studded peep-toe pump, which is available in Paige's best-selling wash, the McKinley.

The collaboration came about after Paige Denim founder Paige Adams-Geller visited de Havilland's East London studio and fell hard for the designer's platforms.

“Terry de Havilland is an expert craftsman and true custom designer, while his attention to detail mirrors the values we hold so important here at Paige Denim," Adams-Geller, who counts Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner as fans, said in a statement. "Not only are our brands built on the same foundations of fit and detail but we also share a love of shoes!”

“I get approached by many brands and most of the time they just do not fit the Terry de Havilland brand," adds the footwear designer. "Paige was different, I have been looking at denim for a while and therefore I had plenty of ideas of how to use the fabric on shoes."

And with denim-on-denim continuing to be a major trend this season, these baby blues are definitely putting a spring in our step.
