Kate Young Teams Up with Cardigan on Fashion Line
What do you do after you dress Academy Award-winning best actress Natalie Portman on Oscar night? For stylist Kate Young, who was responsible for the violet Rodarte worn by a gorgeous and pregnant Portman, there’s no rest after awards-show season.
It’s on to the next venture: designing. (Step aside, stylists turned designers Rachel Zoe and Jeanne Yang!)
Young, who works with the aforementioned Portman as well as Rachel Weisz and designers like Jason Wu and Derek Lam, has teamed up with Lynne Hiriak of the knitwear line Cardigan for a collection geared toward kids and moms, reports Style.com.
Cardigan by Kate Young, available now at cardigannewyork.com, includes five limited-edition pieces: a cropped sweatshirt, cardigan, and slouchy sweatpants for women, and a onesie, leggings, and cardigan for the wee set—all in 100 percent merino wool.
