Gwyneth Paltrow is still going "country strong."

The music-minded Oscar winner poses with guitars and talks shop with interviewer/crooner Faith Hill—wife of Paltrow's Country Strong co-star Tim McGraw—in the April issue of InStyle U.K.

Fresh off her second Glee cameo and performances at the Grammys, Oscars, and CMA Awards, Paltrow opens up to new pal Hill about singing with Jay-Z, making turkey meatballs and watching movies with husband Chris Martin of Coldplay, and hosting dance parties at home.

"I like having dance parties at my house and being super-goofy with my girlfriends," she says. "We just play dance music like whatever is on the radio and then old stuff—Michael Jackson, disco—and new stuff; we mix it up. It’s fun.”

Rumored to be thisclose to signing a record deal, the actress also discusses the praise she's received for her vocal performance in Country Strong.

"Last night when I was watching the film, I thought, ‘This is the best job I’ve ever done,'" she tells Hill.

"Normally, I can’t stand to see myself, but with this film, I felt like it all came together, all that hard work and putting myself in such an uncomfortable position where I felt so scared of how I was going to do it. I’m happy with how it turned out. I am.”

These boots were made for rockin': Paltrow gets our motors running in Bottega Veneta, Burberry, and Frye.

And while country may be her bag, the accompanying fashion spread is all rock and roll. Looking less Nashville and more Sunset Strip, Paltrow sizzles in a blue leopard-print Burberry Prorsum dress with a plunging V-neck for the cover, while inside sees her surrounded by guitars and albums as she models a smokin' leather, metal, and silk dress from Bottega Veneta paired with a spiked Burberry belt and Frye leather boots.
