Willow Smith Named Chanel Brand Ambassador

We’ve watched Willow Smith grow into a fashion icon – and Karl Lagerfeld has taken notice! It was announced earlier this year that Karl Lagerfeld himself chose 15 year-old dancer, singer and actress Willow Smith to be Chanel’s next brand ambassador.
Lagerfeld first met Willow Smith in 2014 when he photographed her for an issue of V Magazine. Smith then went on to star in a Marc Jacobs campaign and signed a modeling contract with The Society Management.
Willow Smith attended her first Chanel show in Paris on Tuesday. Sitting in the front row with her Mom Jada Pinkett-Smith. She already looked the part in a futuristic black and silver mesh bodysuit and signature two-toned ankle boots from the brand.
Joining other Chanel ambassadors Blake Lively, Lily Rose Depp, Elle Fanning, and Kristen Stewart, Smith is the youngest of the ambassadors, and will make an excellent addition to the roster of faces of Chanel.
After the announcement Smith posted a picture of herself and Karl Lagerfeld at Paris’ Grand Palais saying: "Thank you Karl Lagerfeld and the entire team at Chanel for expanding the perceptions of 'beauty' by picking me to be the new Chanel ambassador. I am honoured."
