Jennifer Lopez Performing at the Met Ball?

Jennifer Lopez—who happens to be Vogue’s April cover girl—might have gotten in with Anna Wintour and Co. recently. The singer, actress, and American Idol judge is rumored to be performing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala this year, Women’s Wear Daily reports.
The event, which is hosted each year by Anna Wintour and others (this year’s additional hosts are Miuccia Prada, Jeff Bezos, and Carey Mulligan), traditionally picks a show-stopper for the evening’s entertainment, with Florence + the Machine and Lady Gaga on the lineup in recent years. This summer’s exhibition, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, celebrates strong women, so Lopez would fit right in.
Vogue denied the rumors. Looks like we’ll have to wait for May 7!
