Kanye West to Show at Paris Fashion Week Again

A few critics can’t keep Yeezy down.

After his big debut as Paris Fashion Week last season was universally panned (one relatively kind take on the show: “There’s something about fashion design that makes untrained people think they can do it, too”), Kanye West is coming back to the City of Light for a second round.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that the rapper’s eponymous collection will show at 9:30 p.m. on March 6 at a venue yet to be confirmed.

Last month, West took to Twitter in a 13-hour rant to defend his work as a designer.

“You guys might think I have some type of backing for my line but I don't,” he tweeted. “I did the first fashion show out of my own pocket and used the money I made touring to follow my passion. I've been working at this for 8 years now.”

What he really wants to do, he tweeted, is “help people” by “doing what I know how to do best ... create.”
