After fronting campaigns for Blackglama, the singer is teaming up with the fashion label on a 15-piece line of outerwear and winter accessories.
The Janet Jackson Blackglama Collection will land in stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale's this month, offering the pop diva's spin on coats, vests, jackets, scarves, and gloves, all accented with the brand's signature mink. And leather, if you're nasty.
"The art of fashion is one of my great passions," Jackson says in a press statement. "I've worked for years to bring a collection into the world. Partnering with Blackglama is very exciting."
"When we began preparation for the second Blackglama campaign, Janet became very involved in the design process," adds Mike McCrea, the label's vice-president of marketing.
"The result was an amazing collection of Blackglama garments and accessories that reflect Janet's tremendous sense of style and fashion."
