Megan Fox Removing Marilyn Monroe Tattoo
Marilyn Monroe may be having a major moment of late, but at least one star is casting off the iconic blonde—literally.
My Week With Marilyn opens in theaters November 23, and an exhibit of never-before-seen photos of the legendary beauty recently went on display at New York’s Milk Studios.
But, apparently, all that fanfare isn’t enough for kindred bombshell Megan Fox—the actress is getting her famous tattoo of Monroe’s face removed.
“I’m just over it,” Fox told People. “You outgrow things that you love when you were a child. I got it when I was 18 and now I’m 25 and it just doesn’t make sense anymore.”
She’s employed makeup to hid the ink in the past (some of her her Armani beauty ads show no sign of the tattoo), but Fox said she’s taking a permanent route this time with laser treatments.
“It’s a hundred times worse than the tattoo itself,” she said of the treatments. “I’ve only done one [session] so I probably have three or four left.”
