Rihanna Covers Vogue U.K., Talks Being a Sex Object
Michelle Williams isn't the only one channeling Marilyn Monroe at the magazine stand these days.
For the November cover of Vogue U.K., Rihanna ditches her well-maintained (but not so wallet-friendly) cherry-red mane (and recent bleached crop) for a platinum blonde wig straight out of Some Like It Hot.
The singer also sports an elegant floral-print Armani Privé couture gown for the Alasdair McLellan-shot cover, but turns up the heat with an inside fashion spread that sees her going pantsless in a black ensemble topped off with a beret. (Irish farmers, avert your eyes.)
Still, the Emporio Armani Underwear campaign star is quick to dismiss her racy persona.
"That’s not me," she tells the magazine. "That’s a part I play. You know, like it’s a piece of art … I just want to make music."
Hey, might as well have fun while you're doing it, right?
