Lindsay Lohan Named Face of Philipp Plein
She's modeled for the likes of Miu Miu and her own 6126 line. Now Lindsay Lohan is poised to make her fashion comeback by starring in the Spring 2012 campaign for Philipp Plein, Fashionista reports.
As the new face of the German label, which has previously worked with Mischa Barton, Lohan will attend Plein's September 24 show during Milan Fashion Week. And by the sounds of it, she'll be on her best behavior.
The controversial star is said to be upset about negative press she received during her visit to New York Fashion Week, including reports of punching people, gate-crashing, and generally disorderly conduct.
"Lindsay attended Fashion Week on business to see the collections, meet with designers, stylists, and retailers, and fulfill a few appearance commitments," her rep, Steve Honig, has said. "She was extremely distressed at the level of media attention her presence attracted as well all the rumors that abounded during the week. These reports were completely false and made up by people looking to exploit her for their own benefit and self-promotion."
Meanwhile, Lohan is upping her style profile with a new fashion shoot for Terry Richardson.
