Sarah Jessica Parker Covers Marie Claire
After landing the August cover of Vogue, Sarah Jessica Parker is keeping the momentum by fronting Marie Claire's September issue.
The I Don't Know How She Does It star makes a bright statement in a two-tone Bottega Veneta Resort 2012 dress for her cover shot, then slips into a dusty rose ruffled Christian Siriano skirt (perfectly paired with a slouchy tee) that would make Carrie Bradshaw swoon for her accompanying fashion spread.
So ... how does she do it?
"I love, love, love being an actor," SJP tells the magazine. "It's still the hardest and scariest thing I do, outside of parenting. But I've always been someone who likes a busy day. I love the opportunities, and if I can manage my time and the children are okay and we're okay, it's hard to say no …"
Juggling a film career, fashion and beauty projects, and three kids may sound hectic, but the actress, who recently left Halston as chief creative officer, says it helps keep her marriage to Matthew Broderick in perspective.
"We don't talk about our marriage a lot, which is probably wise," she says. "There are so many other things in our lives that take precedence over the splitting of the atom of our marriage."
