Julianne Moore Signs On as Face of Loreal Paris
Loreal Paris has added yet another A-list beauty to its ever-growing ranks.
Joining the likes of Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, and Lea Michele, Julianne Moore has been named the beauty brand's latest celebrity spokesmodel and global ambassador, WWD reports.
The former Revlon and Kiehl's ambassador will front campaigns for the Cellular Renaissance anti-aging skincare line, which launches in Europe in January.
"I'm an actual user of the brand and it's hard not to be," Moore tells WWD. "Every modern woman shops everywhere for beauty, but for me it's mostly the airport or the drugstore. It's nice to be promoting something that is accessible to everyone."
Moore cites skincare as a personal concern, having grown up with a Scottish mother who kept her children out of the sun. Exfoliating with a washcloth also helps the actress, who turns 52 in December, looking youthful.
Along with the Cellular Renaissance launch, the flame-haired beauty will promote products in the U.S. in 2013 as well as hair color for international markets.
"[She's] an inspiration to women all over the world," says Karen Fondu, president of Loreal Paris USA. "She is undeniably one of the most accomplished women of her time, an award-winning actress, children's book author, and supporter of several philanthropic efforts close to her heart. Julianne is the perfect addition to our family of spokespeople."
