The eternal quest to find the beauty equivalent of the fountain of youth continues.

From Anne Hathaway's Glamoxy Snake serum to Angelina Jolie's Dragon’s Blood sculpting gel, creams and moisturizers to maintain a flawless complexion keep getting more and more bizarre.

The latest in a line of strange serums is snail slime, where the slug's mucus is supposed to clear acne, reduce scarring and prevent wrinkles.

Creams containing snail slime have been popular in Korea, Greece and Africa for many years, however, the slime has just recently come stateside.

According to the Daily Mail, Chilean snail farmers noticed their skin healed without scarring when they handled snails for the French food market, and thus, created an international buzz that resulted in a miracle beauty cream.
