Wrinkle-free cream is more reasonably-priced then you may think.

While Hollywood goes to extreme and expensive measures to maintain that airbrushed, ageless appearance, the secret to a wrinkle-free complexion can actually be found at your local drugstore.

The Daily Mail reports recent studies by Good Housekeeping that reveal the fountain of youth may look more like a trip to Duane Read then dragon’s blood sculpting gel or neck cream with crystals from planet Mars.

Scientists at the Good Housekeeping Research Institute spent a year analyzing 97 anti-aging products which were tested on 661 volunteers, who had a total of 3,127 before-and-after photographs taken of them.

From foundation and concealer to lipstick and eye shadow, the results were as follows:

Top Concealers: Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer, ($10) and Avon Anew Age-Transforming Concealer SPF 15, ($10)

Top Primer: The CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Serum Primer, ($14) and Korres product, ($33)

Top Crease-Proof Eye Shadow: Revlon eye shadow, ($7.49) MAC Paint Pot, ($18)

For foundation and lipstick, luxe brands like La Prairie's anti-aging foundation ($105), Chanel foundation ($65) and By Terry Rouge Terrybly Age-Defense Lipstick ($49), scored the highest marks.

Rosemary Ellis, editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping said in a press release, "Our Anti-Aging Awards are unique because the winners are chosen not only because they smell nice or come in pretty shades: they are backed by scientific testing and have literally been proven to work."
