Lily Cole, Karen Elson, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell rock the Olympics Closing Ceremony.
A runway extravaganza of epic proportions, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson and Lily Cole took the stage at the 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony as part of Vogue's celebration of British fashion.
Decked in gold bead-embellished Alexander McQueen and Erdem gowns, the iconic British models upped the glam factor at the sports spectacular, with smoldering beauty looks just as gold-medal worthy as their statement designer gowns.
The backstage beauty team for the models consisting of makeup artist Val Garland, Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers, hair stylist Sam McKnight and manicurist Marian Newman.

Val Garland told Vogue U.K., "When they all came out together en masse, they owned it. They were all so proud to be British, so proud to be there."
"The beauty look for each girl was different—all of them were treated as individuals and made to look their very best. The brief from Lucinda Chambers was to make them feel special, to make them look gorgeous and to bring out the best in them, and they all looked wonderful," she said. "It was fantastic [to be chosen] it's kind of like family—I know these girls so well and have worked with them for so long. And Lucinda Chambers, Sam McKnight, Marian Newman—we all work together so well, so it was great," said Garland.
Statement smokey eyes with shimmery metallic shadow, glossy pink-coral lips and loose long waves flowing in the wind as they strutted down the runway, the ladies flaunted their major model behavior, giving the Spice Girls a run for their money in their highly-anticipated reunion performance.
Here's how to get the models' stunning beauty look:
- Apply lipstick in a light coral or pink: Hourglass Aura Lip Stain in Petal or Tarte Lipsurgence Natural Lip Stain in Joy are both light enough for everyday wear, while YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain N° 7 in Corail Aquatique is a slightly more intense shade that is longer lasting.
- To make those pink-coral lips nice and glossy, add a layer of Clinique's Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss.
- For eyes, apply Maybelline's Eyestudio Lasting Drama gel eyeliner followed by several layers of Clinique's Bottom Lash Mascara.
- For those loose, luscious waves, apply a dab of Biosilk Silk Therapy onto your hand and massage through wet hair to protect it from the heat of the blow dryer.
- Use a good round brush, like this Frederic Fekkai Large Round Brush, blow your hair dry, pointing the heat on the ends curled around the brush until the loose curl sets.
