Marchesa Announces Fragrance Launch
Friday seems to be the day of fragrance firsts.
Along with Reem Acra's fragrance debut, Marchesa announces the launch of the label's first scent, entitled Marchesa Parfume d’Extase.
Georgina Chapman and Marchesa co-founder Keren Craig, collaborated to create the scent, which features top notes of iris, freesia and young violet leaves; a heart of night-blooming jasmine, and a drydown of iris root, ambrox and musk.
The crystal-embellished bottle looks just as glam and desirable as the statement gowns that parade down the designer's runway every season.
“Eveningwear evokes an emotion, and this scent does the same thing,” Chapman tells WWD.
