Fresh off criticizing Michelle Obama's fashion choices, Oscar de la Renta is geting back to business.
The outspoken designer is looking to amp up his fragrance profile by introducing a line extension called Esprit d'Oscar Eau de Parfum, WWD reports.
Set to launch in time for Mother's Day, the line will see an update of de la Renta's 1977 eponymous scent, new packaging, and a possible expansion to body spray and scrub.
Also in the pipeline is a second fragrance, slated to début in September.
“It’s not that I ever abandoned the fragrance business,” says de la Renta, who retrieved his beauty license from YSL Beauté last year.
“But I’m really happy to be back in control of it, and we have plans to make it really great.”
