Somebody over at Valentino headquarters is clearly a Roman Holiday fan ...
The fashion house's just-released commercial for its Valentina fragrance pays homage to the classic rom-com, complete with Freja Beha Erichsen in Audrey Hepburn mode.
The Danish beauty, rocking sexy waves and little black dress with ruffled details, plays the mischievous heiress Valentina in the charming ad. Jumping off a balcony, she skips out on a lavish ball, hides from her minders, and runs off to hit the clubs and make out with male model Alex Cunha. Can't say we blame her!
Directed by Johan Renck and set to the always welcome "Via Con Me" the ad is a tribute to Rome and its captivating sense of "la dolce vita." And given that the fragrance itself is billed as an Italian floral oriental, we'd say they couldn't have picked a better city ... or girl!
