Miranda Kerr Boosts Coconut Oil Sales
Miranda Kerr is cuckoo for coconut oil ... and now so is everyone else.
Sales of the tropical oil have spiked 50 percent at Holland & Barrett U.K. stores since the Victoria's Secret Angel raved about its beauty benefits, the Daily Mail reports.
The model claims she has four tablespoons of the oil every day, drizzling it over salads, adding it to dishes she’s cooking, or diluting it in her green tea.
“I've been drinking it since I was 14 and it’s the one thing I can’t live without,” the new mother, who also swears by Tahitian Noni juice, says in the August issue of Australian Cosmopolitan. “I will not go a day without coconut oil.”
Now, Holland & Barrett says they are struggling to meet demand for the so-called beauty secret, which is said to promote healthy nails, glossy hair, and a luminous glow.
Looks like we have some shopping to do!
