Naomi Watts gets transformed in the new Pantene Flat to Volume ad campaign.

Naomi Watts is doing just fine, thanks.

And the Oscar-nominated actress has her thin strands to thank for her latest role, fronting the ad campaign for Pantene's Flat to Volume hair product line, Women's Wear Daily reports.

Because Watts "doesn't have the perfect hair," according to Julie Marchant-Houle, marketing director for North America Retail Hair and managing director of Global Fekkai, she was a fitting choice to demonstrate the line's volume-boosting abilities for the brand's "contingent of customers with fine hair."

Indeed, Watts boasts some pretty bodacious and bouncy blonde curls in her print ad, which is scheduled to hit in July and August.

Meanwhile, Eva Mendes has been tapped to promote Pantene's Breakage to Strength range. (Is there any beauty brand she doesn't front?)

While the fate of fellow brand ambassador Stacy London of What Not to Wear fame is still up in the air (though the brand confirms she is still under contract), Pantene makes no secret of its shift from models to celebrities.

"The days of wondering what [an actress’] beauty secrets are, are gone," Marchant-Houle tells WWD. "They talk about their beauty challenges and their beauty secrets nonstop. They can tell real stories, they are much more relatable [than models].

“It is difficult to get a large brand to grow ... [there are] tons of new entries and the consumer is always seeking out the next best thing. Part of the reason we keep changing is to stay in front of that. Eva and Naomi will help us stay relevant."

Aw. Don't let Gisele hear you say that.
