A portfolio of framed offset lithographs featuring Andy Warhol shoe designs fetched 293,000 GBP (about 416,000 USD) at Sotheby’s in the United Kingdom on Tuesday.

A La Recherche Du Shoe Perdu is an incredible collection which was executed by Warhol’s mother,
Julia Warhola,
who sketched on fun captions from poet Ralph Pomeroy. A hand-colored double page cover was also included in the set.

Originally estimated to sell for 100,000 and 150,000 GBP (about 143,470 and 215,205 USD) the prints were created in 1955 when Warhol was working for now defunct New York shoe design house I. Miller as a commercial artist and their sole illustrator.
