Kirna Zabete's Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini Will Buy Anything Lanvin
TheLookNow’s Harriet Mays Powell has dropped in on designers from Proenza Schouler to Alber Elbaz, but in her latest video, it’s retailer Kirna Zabete (one that carries the aforementioned brands, coincidentally) that’s getting the treatment.
Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini are the fashionable ladies behind the Soho store—they met as freshmen at UVA—“we tied for best-dressed in the dorm!” laughed Easley), and they dished about the brands that are striking their fancies at the moment.
“If [Lanvin] makes a pencil, we buy it,” Easley laughed. “If they make an umbrella, we buy it. Basically, if it says Lanvin on it, we’re probably going to think it’s charming and buy it.” For Buccini, Celine is the current go-to. “The sunglasses are the best sunglasses I’ve ever had in my entire life,” she enthuses. “Heels that are actually comfortable, that you can move around in, that look fantastic. Yes!” But those established names aren’t the only ones generating excitement: Kirna Zabete will soon stock treasures from Peter Pilotto and Erdem, and they’re “working on” Haider Ackermann.”
